LITTLE BOHEMIAN FITZROVIA

I live in the Fitzrovia neighborhood in central London. Fitzrovia is near the West End but also partly in Camden and the city of Westminster between Marylebone and Bloomsbury.  Just taking a walk around you will notice that the neighborhood consist of residential, business, retail, education, and healthcare. Fitzrovia is considered a bohemian area because of writers such as Virginia Woolf once called it home. Portland Hospital for Women and Children is located on Great Portland Street near the tube station. The BBC is just a few buildings away down Great Portland Street.  MTV Networks Europe, Nickelodeon, and CNN are just a few other networks with headquarters located throughout the neighborhood. Many celebrities call this area home.  The people of Fitzrovia range in age from young adult –middle aged and they all have didn’t taste in dress. On any given day you can see men in business suits, kids in school uniform, teens in the latest fashion, and fashion forward business woman.  The pictures below range from residential to business, and parks. I believee they are the perfect example of what the neighborhood represents
